Feedback, Assessment and Corrective Action
Quality planning includes process validation, installation, and manufacturing stage.
The manufacturing stage is where all the outputs,variable, and attribute data get evaluated.
It evaluates the quality planning effort, which is based on the production control plan.
The inputs of this phase were the outputs of the product and process validation phase.
Outputs
- Reduced Variation
The tools that identify process variation include control charts and statistical techniques.
Analysis, corrective actions, and continual improvement are necessary to reduce sources of variations.
The customer decides if he/she wants to purchase another product from the same supplier.
- Customer Satisfaction
The product or service must be manufactured in an environment that favors the customer.
To achieve full customer satisfaction, the supplier and the customer must work together in making essential changes.
- Delivery and Service
The supplier and the customer must continue working together to solve existing product problems.
Failure to correct a problem leads to damaged reputations and partnerships.
